For over 40 years, Teletouch has offered a comprehensive suite of telecommunications products and services, and is a leading provider of Cingular® Wireless (now AT&T) cellular services (voice, data, entertainment), as well as complementary mobile, portable and personal electronics products and services to individuals, businesses, and government agencies throughout major markets in Texas and Arkansas.

Cellular services and personal, portable mobile electronics products are sold through a variety of distribution channels including: a chain of Company-owned retail stores under the Hawk Electronics® and Teletouch Communications® proprietary brand names; a direct sales force serving business and government accounts; a network of independent “Authorized Hawk Electronics” Sub-Agents, and through various Internet sites, chief among them www.hawkelectronics.com.

Based on currently available industry trade information, Teletouch estimates that it ranks among the top 10 U.S. Mobile Virtual Network Operators, or MVNOs. The Company handles all direct aspects of the wireless customer relationship, including:
•     initiating and maintaining subscribers’ cellular and other service agreements;
•     determining credit scoring standards and underwriting new account acquisitions;
•     handling all billing, collections, and related credit risk through its own proprietary billing systems; and,
•     providing all facets of real-time customer support, using a proprietary, fully integrated Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) system though its own 24x7x365 Call Centers and the Internet.

Teletouch also operates a significant business segment in the wholesale distribution market known as PCI Marketing (PCIM) that sells cellular and mobile electronic products to smaller retailers, rural cellular carriers and new car dealers throughout North America, with a concentration of customers in the surrounding Southwest region, as well as in certain countries in Latin America. PCIM provides the Company significant pricing advantages over other resellers and MVNOs of its relative size. Teletouch continues to maintain its original business providing two-way radio spectrum, radios and related products and services in the North and East Texas markets. The Company has been an authorized Motorola Sales and Service Dealer ("MSS") for over forty-years, and has a number of enterprise and government customers using both the Company’s cellular and two-way radio services throughout the region.
